Peugeot 607

If you need a car to keep you in comfort whilst you eat up the motorway miles you could do a lot worse than taking a look at the Peugeot 607. Since launch, the Peugeot 607 has offered owners one of the most comprehensive standard specifications available on an executive vehicle, value for money has always been a strength of the 607. With its sophisticated appearance the 607 sports body coloured bumper strips as well as side cappings with a chrome plated edge trim. At the front of the car there's a profiled air intake residing under the bumper and chrome finished fog lights are integrated into the front spoiler.

The 607 comes with a choice of three engine options a 2.0 litre HDi (136bhp) and a 2.2 litre HDi (170bhp) diesel with a six speed manual transmission or a 3.0 litre V6 petrol unit that is transmitted through a six speed automatic box, one trim level the “Executive” is applied across all engine options. The 607 has been designed to give you confidence from the second you
pull away. Start to put it through its paces, take it through a few twisting bends, and you’ll really start to appreciate its exemplary road-holding. The 607 offers a refined drive with muted engine noise and low levels of tyre and wind noise.

The interior can be rated highly for design and the comprehensive levels of specification. Large and comfortable front seats along with steering adjustable for reach and height ensure most people will find their ideal driving position quite easily.
At first glance the consol looks very complicated and busy with loads of buttons and controls to operate the climate control, sound system, navigation system and so on. However live with the car for just a few hours and it soon becomes familiar.

Standard specification on all 607 models is very good with metallic paint, leather upholstery front and rear heated seats, electrically adjustable front seats and folding rear seats, laminated side glass, JBL Hi Fi system including CD auto-changer, colour satellite navigation, in-built "hands free" GSM telephone, front and rear parking sensors, electronic stability control (ESP) + traction control (ASR) + cornering stability control (CSC), cruise control, 8 airbags, bi-zone climate control, xenon headlamps, automatic windscreen wipers and headlamps, motorised boot actuation, tyre pressure sensors, athermic windscreen and an ultrasonic alarm with deadlocking and remote central locking all fitted without you having to pay any extra.
The Peugeot 607 was made to be driven.
