There is just the one version, the Enterprise, and the excellent 1.4-litre common rail HDi unit, also found under the bonnet of the Peugeot 206 powers it. Maximum power is 70 bhp and peak torque of 117 lb/ft occurs at a lowly 1,750rpm. The engine was uprated to Euro 4 emissions specification at the end of 2005 with no change to the power and torque figures. Performance provided by this smooth powerplant is more than adequate and it returned 60mpg during the test period. Better consumption should be possible with a more tempered right foot. Excellent brakes, however, and ABS is fitted as standard. The 0.84 m3, 331kg payload cargo area is accessed via a horizontally split tailgate. There's a top-hinged hatch opened independently of a bottom-hinged tailboard. Four floor-mounted load-tie points are provided and a full-height mesh grille bulkhead protects the cab occupants. The cab is pretty much on par for a small van and we found the driving position very comfortable. Service intervals are a little short at 12,500 miles, but the warranty is a generous three years/100, 00 miles.
