The Laguna strikes a good balance between crisp handling and a smooth ride. It's very stable on all roads thanks to firm control of body movements, while it rides town bumps and potholes comfortably and quietly. Inside, the treatment is both sporting and elegant, notably with leather upholstery in a mixture of dark charcoal and China red. The gear lever knob is satin-finished aluminium and the dashboard surround moulding has a chrome satin finish. The red piercings in the leather of the steering wheel, the door panels, the centre armrest and the centre panels of the bucket sports front seats emphasise the Grand Touring aspect of the car. Renault has added features other manufacturers don't even offer as extras - like tyre pressure monitor and keyless entry. The Laguna even comes with a top-of-the-range colour satellite navigation system fitted as standard, which is as an essential requirement for fleet customers to eliminate the stress of trying to find a destination, and getting to the client on time. Additional option packs are also offered on most models to further upgrade spec levels.
As the first car to ever receive a five star Euro NCAP rating, Laguna is not found wanting in the safety department either with all of the following as standard; ABS (anti-lock brakes) with EBD and brake assist, six airbags (driver & front passenger, front lateral and side curtain airbags), double seatbelt pretensioners and load limiters, and ISOFIX child seat fixing points. The Renault Laguna will certainly meet all your driving needs.
